it will not hurt; you shouldn't even feel it. if it's uncomfortable going in, you might need to use a little lube to make it easier. once it's in, you shouldn't feel it hardly at all, and if it's uncomfortable at that point then that means you put it in wrong (not in far enough.) take it out and put it in again :-)

I think you'll find that tampons are much better than pads. Pads are messy and gross; you'll probably never go back. Good luck! Read all the instructions, and ask a female if you have any questions.

NO! it doesn't hurt, i thought the same thing, but after get the first one in, u'll never go back to pads! tampons let you be normal on your period, you can swim and for me i'm a cheerleader, i could'nt imagine tumbling and jumping(where everyone sees my bloomers) with a pad on!! just take your time, relax, and read the instructions, they are SO easy and comfortable, YOU WILL LOVE THEM! make sure you get the right size, for your flow!

no, unless it's the wrong absorbency, or u put it in wrong. read the instructions & if u're a teenager, then buy some specifically made for teens like tampax teens. if not, then get the lowest absorbency unless ur periods r heavy then use the super absorbency ones. if it starts heavy & gets lighter then get a combo pack. if this is too difficult for u, u can ask ur mom, aunt, sister, cousin or even a female pharmacist to help.

it depends.

for some people the canal is too small to use them. For other people its a snap. Also if you can get a tampon in, and it hurts, you eitehr have it in incorrectly or you didn't do something right.

If you insert the tampon wrong then you will feel it and it may hurt and be uncomfortable. but if you insert the right way you shouldnt be able to feel it at all.

No, if you insert it just right and be sure and don't buy that extra large. They have a cord as big as a mini blind and they swell up
and you to run trying to get them out.

Only if you get the wrong size. Ask your mom, grandmother, older sister, aunt, or even older girl cousin. They've all been through that thought.
