Nelly furtado's Loose album and now Justin Timberlake's Futuresex/Lovesounds album both have this new techno-y sound of electrical buzz and claps. Perhaps this is the start of a new musical generation. Good examples: Showtime by Nelly furtado, Summer Love by Justin Timberlake. It's evident throughout all of each of the albums.

2 idiots making bad music does not mean the start of a new era. If i had to name this era it would be of pop punk emocore music.
