To set up a microphone:
1.. Locate the sound connections and connect the microphone jack to the computer. Most
computers use an internal sound card and often the connections will be in the back of the
system.

jack. One will be labeled as the microphone connection, either with a small icon that
looks like a microphone or explicitly labeled as such.
3.. Plug the microphone into that connection.
4..
Try the following to test your mike:
To open Sound Recorder, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to
Entertainment, and then click Sound Recorder.
To record a sound:
1.. Make sure you have an audio input device connected to your computer.
Example of audio input device: microphone.
2.. On the File menu, click New.
3.. To begin recording, click Record . Say a few words.
4.. To stop recording, click Stop .
To play a sound:
1.. On the File menu, click Open.
2.. In the Open dialog box, double-click the sound file you want to play.
3.. Click Play to start playing the sound.
4.. Click Stop to stop playing the sound.

The Cyber Acoustics CVL-1064 is a fairly simple to use mic with no special factions except for the on/off button at the base. So there is no need for a manual or instructions.
Simply plug the connector to the "mic" input of you PC sometimes at the back or sometimes in front usually marked in pink or with a mic icon.
Make sure you have the right recording and playback settings in the Volume controller (start > accessories > entertainment > volume).
You might have to keep your mouth closer to the mic for the sound to be loud and clear.

Plug it in at the right spot and it should work just fine. And if it doesn't then you need to go to Control Panel and double-click on Add Hardware icon. Then you'll have to run that program for your computer to detect your microphone.

Just plug it in to the back of the computer! It's a small pink inlet! Like the one you use to plug in an earphone or so! Has a picture of a microphone!
