Well I know a lot of young people are catching it these days. I read this brochure last week and it said, more people are likely to get AIDS or another sexualy transmitted disease by the time they reach 25. So I was wondering how can we stop these youngsters from getting it. It seems the whole don't have sex thing isn't reaching these young horney adolescent, teenagers these days. So how can we all as good yahoo users dig up a good plan. I know MTV is doing some good things by those advertisement, but their are still some youngsters these days that are getting the disease. I am such a hypocrite I am young myself, I just stll want some ideas on getting at least a fewer sexualy transmitted disease rate a day. I am doing a reaserch paper and I was hoping some of you had some ideas for me.

If you're going to have sex, practice SAFE SEX. Use barrier contraceptives (prophylactics, rubbers, whatever you call them).
There are also a lot of pleasureable things you can do with a partner that don't involve actual penetration (mutual masturbation, for example).
Don't start a sexual relationship with anyone until you have both been AIDS tested and both come up negative. (But then you both have to be committed to a monogamous relationship -- and you have to trust each other to keep the commitment and be honest about that.)
I think that telling youngsters to just say "No" when they face raging hormones and a constant bombardment of sexual messages from films, television, magazines and advertising is unrealistic.
Some will hold out for marriage or a monogamous relationship and more power to them! But the others are going to experiment and shouldn't be condemned to death for that.

Stop taking God out of everything. Why is the condition of society getting worse? Because Christianity is being taken out of everything. If our youngsters grew up in a more christian environment instead of the trash theyre growing up in now, maybe they wouldnt have so much trouble.

AIDS spreads because of (a) more than one life-time sexual partner - i.e., non-monogamy, (b) drug use with shared needles.

Structure social mores and organizations to eliminate those two activities above, and you will eliminate AIDS.

Christianity teaches celibacy before marriage, followed by marriage to ONE partner for life. Obedience to those two items would completely eliminate AIDS worldwide.

Cordially,
John
