It was once said in a movie, I don't remember which, 'man looks back over the course of his life, sees his mistakes and calls it fate'. Belief in fate contradicts the idea of free will. There are times, when we make decisions that we are not certain about, but in the long run they turn out to be right thing. We are not in control of anything, no matter how much we may think so, for if that was the case we'd be able to stop anything. The idea of fate is far too problematic that's why it hasn't been solved yet.

I believe in fate but I don't fully understand exactly what it is. We certainly do not have full control over what happens. Some things are beyond our control. For instance, we did not choose in which family we are born or where in the world we are born. We have no control over the genes that we get and so on.
I believe that people have free will but that there is fate too. How these two things go together is not clear to me. But I do believe that they somehow go together.

I believe that we have some control over our decisions and reactions to things. I think somethings must be Fate though. It has to be true. Since we have no choice in dying. It's our Fate. We don't choose this. But we can live right for Jesus Christ and God and make out own Fate, I think. So I say we make our own Fate sometimes and other Times I think it has been planned out for us through God's work.

Everything happens for a reason, perhaps. Fate or coincidence, perhaps. It is easy to guess why things happen but in the end, no one knows for sure why we choose the roads we go down. I would like to believe in fate, but realistically I have to say coincidence is the most rational answer.

i do not believe in fate i do not like the idea that i have no control over my life.
i feel that life has everything to do with the choices you make and their consequences. if you decide that you want to became a doctor then you have to live with the consequences good or bad. if you decide to become a doctor and then one of your patients die then that's something you must live with.
we have complete over what happens to a degree. we can't control when somebodys dies or when somebodie is born but we can decide what to do with our life.

I believe we do have a preordained purpose that we were specifically created to fulfill. It might be something big, or it might be something small, however i feel we are all parts in a very intricate life engine that keeps pushing forward. Everything happens for a reason. I strongly beleive that. You may not realize that reason for years, decades, or even within the expance of your lifetime, nevertheless all things still happen for a reason.

Everything we do makes full circle, yes you do print your own demise , simply by what you do with your life. The only thing you can't pinpoint is that day death grips you. That is what fate is. When you least expect it, be ready for it.
