an I could tell without askin she was into the blues
she wore scarlet begonias tucked into her curls

So many of these answers covered amazing songs, I've realized box of rain is my favorite; but if you're looking for a song to really jam to, I'd reccomend Mexicali blues

Depends entirely on my mood, but I consistently like:

'Franklin's Tower' (and sometimes the whole medley before it)

'The Wheel' (one great live version, in particular)

'Uncle John's Band'
'Dire Wolf' (silly & fun)
'Monkey & The Engineer' (ditto)
I also love playing 'Ripple' on solo acoustic guitar, it creates a very mellow mood (and this, I hasten to add, is with no substances except caffiene involved : )
