Babys gender?

I am expecting my third baby. I have 2 boys and am hoping to have a girl this time. I used an ovulation calendar that tells you how to achieve girls or boys. Has anyone else used this? did it work? Has anyone tried the chinese gender predictor? did that work? I heard it is pretty accurate but was curious.

The sperm determines the sex of the baby. Sperm that produces boy babies is faster but doesn't live as long as the slower sperm that produces girl babies. The theory is that if you have sex a couple of days before ovulation that you will have a girl baby because all the boy sperm will be dead. Of course, this only works if you ovulate at the same time every month. Otherwise, you could ovulate early and the faster boy sperm would be the one to fertilize your egg.

I personally have not the ovulation calendar to get a certain gender. "They" say having sex a few days before ovulation will give you a girl because the sperm that carries the X chromosome can live up to 4 days. Having sex on the day you ovulate should then result in a boy, since the Y chromosome sperm are the fastest. Also the women's body is more "kind" to the sperm when she is ovulating. Our bodies tend to kill off quite a lot of sperm.

I have used the chinese gender chart, however. I used it for my 4 children in addition to my sister-in-law and many, many friends. It has yet to be proven wrong. I just used it to predict another friend's baby. They desperately want a boy...chart says girl. We will see.

The key to making the chinese chart work is you have to use your lunar age and the lunar months. People that don't use that info usually get a wrong result.

I just tried the Chinese gender predictor and it tried to tell me that my 3 year old daughter is supposed to be a boy. That thing doesn't work at all.

I've never heard of any thing like that.
I do know you carry differently with a boy than a girl. A boy is all out front and a girl is on the sides. being you have already had 2 boys look in the mirror If you are far enough along to tell and see if you are carrying differently or ask your gyn/ob to do an ultrasound. OK the only really way that decides the baby's gender is the man's sperm..it has nothing to do with the calendar or how you did it or where, unless they have proved differently. What the man donates to the process is what decides the gender but nothing else.

Hey, I have two girls and I am Finally expectiong a Boy, so I hope you get your wish. I so not really believe in the calanders and stuff, I think its all about the guy. They say girl sperm swims faster though. (myth?) I know having a different sex baby can happen though. Hope you get your girl Congradulations.

i did the ovulation calculator hoping for a boy...oops its a girl!!! And chinese gender worked with both of my kids.

I took a whole bunch of gender predictor tests and every one told me boy well boy were they right.

the gender of the fetus is decided by the chromosomes in the sperm not ovulation, try doing it upside down next time lol j/k hope u get what u want it's all luck of the draw

I've heard that most of those things don't work. All that determines the sex of the baby is the husband's DNA. Nevertheless, I hope that you have the girl that you want. Good luck!
