There are so many things to parody in this absurd society. To name a few:
1) excessive cell phone users
2) the Bush Administration
3) dopey celebrities (take your pick!)
4) holidays
5) award, talent, or reality shows
6) newscasters
7) that Head On commercial

LOST parodies are usually pretty funny. Really, you can just take any show or book that you like and might even be pretty well known, and add in some funny plot twists. Even like some reccent event [preferably not 9/11]. Or a celebrity!
Paris Hilton, Law and Order, and just about anything you like you can do. You don't have to hate something to make a parody on it!

WHy don't you write a parody of those stupid info-mercials they run late at night. The one that comes to mind is the "Set it and Forget it" chicken cooker.
Also think about the ones they on SNL and clean them up a little for school.
