It's called arrogance. And equality only applies to everybody else.

That's why the US can break any laws or treaties it wants, with no consequences, but demands absolutely compliance by everyone else.

Yes. But for a while you had a constitution that was really great. Unfortunately criminal elements in your government have been undermining your constitution through amendments to the point where your own government can now arrest you for any reason they choose, torture you and imprison you indefinitely without trial. (Oh yes they can!)

You allowed powerful lobby groups to bribe and blackmail your representatives to the point were your foreign policy is now decided by a foreign power (Israel)you’re your taxpayers sponsor this foreign power with over three billion dollars every year (!!!) to pursue a policy that violates human rights conventions and oppresses a people against international law.

You are now living under a fascist regime and most of you do not know it.

Unfortunately your average US citizen is guilty of complicity through their complacency and ignorance. You had something that was great but you watched it be taken from right under your own nose without even realising it.

Wake up all fuckwits in American. Switch of your daily dose of TV propaganda. Stop believing the lies in your newspapers and start fighting for your constitution and your country where it really matters the most – in America.

God Bless America.

1) The "indians" slaughtered the people who were here before them. And, they slaughtered each other. We are human; we kill or destroy that which is different from us. Americans do not have monopoly on this behavior. Look at Bosnia. Look at Darfur. Look at Iraq.
2) I recall that Japan attacked the US first. And, to subdue the Japanese, it would have taken an invasion where many more people would have been killed on both sides. Nuclear weapons saved lives in this case.
3) All governments lie to their constituents. The only hope is that we can learn from our mistakes. But, it doesn't seem to be happening.
4) People deserve equal rights under the law. But, people are not equal. I can do things that others cannot while others can do things that I cannot do.

It's ironic in a way, that if we look back to those "savages" as was the talk of the time, we know that the North American Indian people, were as one with nature and the land, a spiritual bond between their life and the environment around them.
Now with the effects of global warming more and more apparent, isn't fair that the North American Indian might say, we are the real savages?

More of the same old, tired liberal dogma, with no actual facts to back it up. If it's so bad here, why are people still clammoring to get into our country. I'll tell you why, freedom and the opportunity to succeed. Something lacking in the countries from which these people come.
