The doc tells my husband and I to wait three months. I can't stand to wait that long. I don't want to have another miscarriage, but I miss the feeling of being pregnant. I want to have a family so badly.

Most doctors will tell you that you can start trying right away. As long your body has completely passed everything and your periods are back to normal, and your cycle is fine, then you should be in the clear. Your body will know. When your cycle returns to normal your body has too. For the most part. And if you are trying, pay attention to your diet. Start taking prenatals now. If you get pregnant right away then don't worry. Misscarriages happen for a reason. Keep that in mind. Maybe something would have been wrong with the fetus and rather than have a child that would have suffered God knows it's best to just end it and try again. I've had a misscarriage, but I've got 2 children and another on the way. And yes I still worry about loosing this one, I am almost 5 months along, and I still watch for spotting when I got to the bathroom. The fear will not end until you are holding your child in your arms. And even then, lol, don't mothers tend to check to see if their children are still breathing for a very long time. I still do. I had my misscarriage in between my daughter and my son, they don't necessarally set the grid for how your future pregnancies will go. So try not to worry too much. If I hadn't misscarried the one I did, with a guy that I thought was the one and ran when I got pregnant. I wouldn't have my son with my husband or the one that is due in Feb. Things happen for a reason. And he is a great father to my daughter from a previous relationship.

Ok I have been in this place before. The best thing to do is to listen to your doctor or wait for a good year or risk a high risk pragnacy. See i had my daughter in may of 2005. Got pragnet and miss carried 3 times since last august. some how while pragnet with my fourth pragnacy (misscarrage) I became pragnet. And i am on a high risk pragnecy. So I would wait until atlease 3-5 months but whitch ever you think. I hope i was help to you.

One menstrual period

unless you had complications with a d & c or you were far then along then the 8-14 weeks and they would want you to wait so uterine lining is thick enough to support new baby. Part of the reason they like you to wait is it is easier to set delivery/growth dates for next pregnacy. If you had an early miscarriage without d & c there is no real reason to wait more then one period. Good Luck to you

you should wait three months because if you do get pregnant soon after a miscarriage your chances to miscarriage is high but if you wait it low. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage but give it time and you will soon have that family you wish for. Good luck and God bless you.

If you don't wait, you could risk having another miscarriage. You may need that long to be emotionally ready to get pregnant again. It must be hard to wait, but you want everything to be perfect for your new baby right? ♥

Well, if I were you would just wait. It's probably best to do what the doctor tells you, that to me seems like the intelligent thing. If you were to have another miscarriage you might consider foster or adoption. That works.

well there are a total of 10 days throughout the month where a woman can concieve. so think of it this way...your not waitting the full three months more like the full 20 or so days! maybe trying a month or so again...i dont think 3 months was a good time to suggest. try again in about 1 month. best of luck!
