No the stomach and the uterus are not connected. But it depends on what the tongue ring was made of. Some medals can be toxic. Most of the time, the stomach acid will dissolve the metal long before digestion.
There is a study that shows that women with tongue rings have a higher incidence of teeth damage, and women with teeth damage can have a higher incidence of cardiac problems, especially infection of the valves. So ask you OB if it is safe to have a tongue ring.

It should pass through your system. It would have to be able to get into your bloodstream to be able to get to the baby. The only thing I would worry about is if the metal might be poisonous or if you don't pass it naturally. I'd call the OB and see what they think.

no because before any foods go into the umblical cord to feed the baby ur tummy and intestines remove all the "rubbish" so if will just pass through your body and will not go to the baby, at least im pretty sure it shouldn't i'm not 100% sure

It's not digestable so it should just pass through your system. Just make sure it comes out if you get my meaning, you don't want that in you stomach rusting up and causing problems. I think you will be fine though.
