can't make up my mind, so i'll gladly accept some input. Want to go from acoustic to electric, but can't decide between bass or guitar, i do have a lot of rythm, and am not very good at fretting, what do you think? Why?

Before you decide to play bass you need to see if your hands are big enough to play it.

Fretting takes practice and it's something you have to really become comfortable with at all places on the neck.

Try some lighter strings on your acoustic and you might have better luck. That will also give you some idea of what it's like to play electric.

Well it's up to you really. i mean fretting is really difficult on acoustic guitars but on an electric it's much easier, at least that's what i feel. Plus you don't have to play lead guitar. i mean rhythm guitar is quite nice as well. I'd suggest you buy a good electric guitar(though not too expensice in case you drop out) and keep practising, eventually you'll get there and start playing lead guitar like the best of them hehe. Oh well good luck and remember to keep practising!!

I myself have a guitar but i rarely play it anymore because i have trouble fretting. But this doesn't mean i reccomend a bass either. I've never played a bass before and i know that you can get different size guitars to make it easier to play.
Good luck with your decision.

either one would suit you fine...bass has a little more "rythm" and you can really get a beat with that...but electric is cool, too. It's whatever YOU WANT. :)
