They sound like good mottos, but my favorite and most simple to remember is "Be yourself because the people matter don't mind and the people who mind don't matter." Just basically saying don't try changing yourself to fit anyone else's profile.

1. You'll get the same distance in life if you don't remember the past then if you live in it.
Living in the past will hold you back, fearing that the things that happened before will happen again will make you miss out on the present

2. I don't have calories, don't label me or anyone else.
Everyone is full of calories, I dont really understand this, calorie is a unit of energy

3. People who are ready to brave death are often the ones who still have life to face.
People often brave death because they have no reason left to live, like the man who would attempt to get vengeance for the death of his family knowing full well he will not succeed and probably die

4. Destiny is real. When we defy destiny, that is when we are on our own.
If destiny can be defied, then by definition it doesn't exist

5. To be naive is to believe what one is told. To be closeminded is to only believe what is known by others. To have faith is to believe in what one knows, but cannot be seen.
I think this one is pretty good

My motto is just respect, if everyone treated everyone with respect, if people quit struggling against one another, if we threw away our pride and ambition and just respected one another, life would be a lot better

It all depends on how you interpret these motto's. Also ever moment is contextual to a different set of circumstances that might require a different motto or philosophy.

Basically mottos are tools not absolutes. Take these two mottos:

"Wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one weighs more."

"A successful man is a man who has tried and failed a thousand times."

These can be applicable in very different situations. Sometimes it prudent to let go and find another project and other times you need to keep plugging away and keep trying.

The best motto to describe this is that, "There is a season for all things".

it rather is a litmus attempt for me. If I e mail with somebody, I ask myself no remember if my husband could be delicate examining the e mail. if so, I proceed. If no longer, I tell the guy. adult men in some circumstances prefer to circulate too far. I have not have been given any pastime in putting my marriage in threat for a stranger with a undesirable mouth. I stay with the help of the motto.

I would live by 3, 4, and 5. The other two were kinda hard to understand.

I try not to live by mottos, particularly those written by other people. I tend instead to do what I think is right and live according to my own ethical standards. Nothing is always true, so living by a motto is simplistic and self-defeating.
