i JUST watched the ring 2 without watching Ring 1. can somebody tell me what happened in the first part? i am not through the whole thing yet, but it is creeping me out!!! (i am 15) Especially at the beggining when they showed that dead boy's face. I couldnt watch it straight, so i fast forward it, but watched it at the same time. i couldnt face to watch his face at the normal play speed.

the first one is really good you should rent it but it starts out these two girls and one of them had seen the tape and they are talking about it then the phone rings aand then she dies and this lady that is related to her starts investigating the tape and she watched it and she has seven days to figure out what is going on and then her son watches the tape and she finnds if you let someone else see the tape uyou dont die but she finds out sameeria was killed by her adopted mother by being thrown into a well and it must have taken her 7 days to die and that she is getting some kind of revenge by being on this tape but you really should rent it

It's quite a while since I saw the Ring 1. Basiclly this little girl Samara (evil) was thrown down a well by her adopted mother who owned a horse ranch. She died but was able to imprint herself onto a video tape that kills anyone who watches it in 7 days. The only way to escape tis fate is to make someone else watch the tape and spread her story so everyone knows it.

Yeah check out the Original Japanese Films. The american remakes aren't worth it.

Go rent Ringu I and II..they're the Japanese original movies and much better, imo, than the American remakes
