I know this is embarassing, but for a couple of weeks now, I have had a lot of gas, especially in the mornings. I am pretty sure this is from the pregnancy. But I was just wondering if anyone else has had this or have heard anything about it???

Yes, it has to do with the way your body process everything. You may also find your baby has the same problems, if you nurse. You can take food out of your diet that may cause you gas pains.

www.babyzone.com was very helpful to me while I was perganant.

also I like the book A girlfriends guide to pregnancy. It talks about gas and peeing on yourself. ;)

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have had horrible gas pains most of my pregnancy. The flatulance ended sometime after my 1st trimester but I still have horrible belly aches from gas built up in my intestines. I have found certain foods really bother me, like ice cream, and if I eat too much I really suffer. Try to eat small amounts and avoid foods that you think might be causing the gas.

Yup welcome to the club. . In the beginning I was like that too, because the body is making preparations for a baby to be in there, so all kinds of things are happening inside....But you'll be just fine. Drinking tea helps, caffeine free of course

Congratulations!

Yes, perfectly normal. I was gassy and bloated all the way up to week 8. Then I started puking. One malady for another. :)
