I do not know if it has been formaly said to do so... but any one may fly the Flag at Half staff in respect for our fallen at any cerimony in remeberance... If you have a regular flag pole I would think that it should be flown as on Memorial day or veterans day... raise it in the morning to full staff and then respectfully lower to half staf... keep it at half staf untill noon when it should be raised to full again.

I am not sure if it is but as I sit here and watch the ABC network recount of that awful day it should be. Many good innocent, brave, and unsuspecting people lost their lives that day while many of us were safe at home or at work watching the horrors of that day unfold. If we are lucky and blessed we will never have to again.
