They have the same 'setup' in Austria too. I've used that type of loo when I was on holiday there.
It's really weird when you are cleaning yourself, as you know the poo is going to be 'that much closer' to where your hand will be !!!!

They do say it is useful to check....so on that basis if I had a tricky tummy it may be useful to see the outputs....if I was in Germany. As I am not, I will remain ignorant of such matters!!
