A few months ago, a researcher from cinvestava loose his Dr. degree beacause of the experiments on his tesis where demtrated to be n repteables.

1) Being involuntarily listed in the JOURNAL OF IRREPRODUCEABLE RESULTS (a satiric magazine)

2) Not being able to get your findings published in a field-specific scientific periodical [ a magazine with fuzzy pictures & small print] which is how researchers communicate their research to others in their field.

3)Watching their grant money dry up. (see #2 above)

4)Collecting unemployment & passing the afternoons answering kids' science questions on Yahoo answers.
