Well go to Real Player and go to options somewhere on the toolbar. There should be a way to disactivate it so Real Player will not come up when u plug in your mp3 player. Also, what kind of Mp3 player are u using. Does it require real player, if your mp3 player came with a disc of anykind, download that disc than open it and change the options of your mp3 player so any other software doesnt open(ex. Real Player) i would use Windows Media Player, it helps you the most from my open. Personally you should upgrade your mp3 player to an ipod , those are better anyway. Well i hope i helped thanks

When you first plugged it in you got an option to Always Take This Action and you clicked it. Probly the best thing to do now is change the file association for .mp3 files to another program.

If you are just trying to charge your mp3 player, you don't have to turn on the computer. Just plug it in and wait for it to charge.
