I want one but i'm not sure what i want. Maybe some sort of flower or something. Any suggestions.

Tattoos were originally used to signify conformity and belonging to a tribe, and rites of passage. Asking someone else for ideas on what to have indelibily marked on your body demonstrates that you're longing for both.
Having a tattoo is not going to make you fit in or become a woman. If you are going to do it, make sure it is a reflection of who you really are, since you're going be living with it for the rest of your life.. Doesn't sound like you know who that is yet.
And what does music have to do with it? Not all muscians have tattoos, many non-muscians do.

Find a tattoo parlor and artist that someone (with a tattoo) recommends. Go and look at the work they offer and see which ones you like. Then go home! Wait 2 weeks if you still like it and want it forever go back and have it done. If there are none on display that you like have someone with great art skills draw one for you and see if the tattoo artist can do it. NEVER go in without a picture - you wont know what you will end up with.

i have three tattoos. i was getting tattoos WAY before it became the "fad" thing to do.
a tattoo is pretty much a life long commitment unless at some point in the future you want to have it removed (then you'll have a scar) or you get something else over it.
1) i have a "raven" on my left leg above the ankle (obvious because that is my name)
2) i have a black panther on my back ...because a black panther is power, sleek, magnificent, and no one f***s with a black panther
3) i have a design of a half of a heart because i have never found my other "half" ....
i am planning on getting two more: a family "crest" that was designed just for me and my son .... and my son and grandson's names in chinese symbols. then i will be finished! :)
a tattoo should have MEANING to you .. something that you'd be proud for people to see.
if you love music .. then get something to do with music.

Go to a well known, trusted tatoo parlor, have a sit with them, they can five you some suggestions and show you lots of examples
and yeah, dont get 'ghetto' tatoos, like the guy above said. Flower, or heart, or something near that is more attractive. Even a little badass cant hurt..i mean..tats still dend to hurt lol

I would look online at pictures of things you like.. music for example.. I definitely wouldn't pick a tattoo off the wall of the place you're getting it. Also- you could get it in a place nobody would really see it unless you wanted them to see it, so that if you regret it later, it's not that big of a deal. I wouldn't get it in a place that would be obvious... just better for work and if you get married (big tattoos on your back don't look so great on your wedding day)

you dont sound ready to get one yet you should decide what u want first, then wait a long time like a year, then see if u still like that idea, it has saved me from getting some pretty dumb tattoos! i have four i love and its worth the wait to make sure ...sometimes you just look back and realize you would like something else alot better!! good luck

Wait until you come up with something yourself... if you can't think of anything then I would wait... this will be on your body forever - don't look to strangers for ideas... and I saw one comment suggest a band logo... before you run and do that think ahead 20 years and wonder if you will still like that band...

I have about 15 of them and all of mine have a story behind them
Think about your tattoo before you get it you will have it forever!!
I say you as a woman can never go wrong with roses. Just rember to think it out first.

Just remember that you will have your tattoo forever. maybe you should decide for yourself what you want other than just a tattoo.
