They have already done a cross over like this. Superman VS. The Hulk, Batman VS. Wolverine... etc. It turned out to be a tie. This created a short series called Amalgam, where all the super heroes from each universe combined with each other.

What in a brawl....? every villian and hero in an all out slugfest?

Based on sheer power it is not as cut and dry as it looks. Most people would point to superman and say well supes could take out many of Marvel's heroes. But the Sentry is at least in the same powerclass as Superman and they'd probally take each other out. Then you have Captain Marvel (who gets overlooked) but Thor would be able to take him out. Basically whoever DC has Marvel could counter (some are not obvious). Gorrila Grodd? Xavier. Lobo? Wolverine. Starfire? Quasar. Batman? Magneto. Wonder Woman? Shadow Cat. Flash? Marvel Girl. It would end up being a long bitter fight and in the end would come down to homefeild advantage. In the Marvel Universe i would give a slight advantage to Marvel because of cosmic forces such as The Pheonix, Sentry, and the Void... these cosmic forces probally wouldn't work in DC reality. But the same is true for DC since In DC universe Marvel Cosmic beings probally have far less power.
so in the end it is a wash... no clear winner can be crowned because there are just TOO many powers and beings to deal with.

everyone says DC cause they got superman and batman...
did anyone read the Marvel VS. DC comic series?
nobody won between the two, they are evenly matched.
ok superman ya hes the best of the best for Dc, but hes been beaten before. and batman, Marvel has the punisher, they are the same concept different companies.
If i had to choose a winner i would go with CHAOS. cause everyone there is eaither half naked or already dead.
you cant kill something thats already dead, and who cares about a fight when theres a thin hot women standing there with her top off!

DC has WAY more powerful characters.

And before I get letters from all the idiots out there who say that DC only has Superman, then you really DON'T have the first freakin' clue what you're talking about. So step off.

Superman, Green Lantern and Flash by themselves could wipe the floor with many of the Marvel characters. Now, if you throw in the whole Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans (the originals, not the crappy cartoon version), The Legion of Super-Heroes, the Green Lantern Corps, etc., then it's no contest.

Dc comics . Because Marvel does not have a whole lot of characters that can bring themselves back from the Dead Like Superman, Hal Jordan Green Lantern. Plus our villians don't look all sucky like Dr.Doom and Toad and Mole man. Oh God Mole Man from the X-men, What a crack up!!!!

Although I love and adore both universes, I would say that Marvel Universe would win because they have the most powerful superheroes and superheroines in the world.

Marvel, hands down.... think Superman can beat the Beyonder? and Silver Surfer mopped the floor with Green Lantern easily. Shattered through everything Hal created with his ring.

nicely in terms of conflict in a head to head wrestle, DC might win because of the fact there are lot extra martial artist in DC than marvel, in simple terms think of of any character that has a connection with Batman and Richard Dragon additionally green Arrow or The question and etc. in terms of which facet is smarter, i think of marvel has extra geniuses than DC, So in a conflict the geniuses at marvel might think of of an excellent plan to defeat DC, in simple terms think of of Reed Richards and Dr Doom or Tony Stark or Beast and etc. ordinary i think of the conflict will bring about a stalemate or in line with danger if one facet would desire to win, it will be an exceedingly close adventure!

Marvel. Their characters have real problems and are mutants. DC characters are too perfect and nothing bad really happens to them. Spider-Man and the X-Men are awsome.
