I will probably get one eventually, but I'm not paying 600.00 for it. I could take that money and make an incredible gaming computer.
I have a ps2 now, and I probably will get an XBbox 360 first then buy the PS3 when the price drops.

Yep, in a year, when the price drops. I love my games, but I am not paying $600 bucks for the PS3, no matter how great it is.
To those who say they're gonna pre-order the PS3 - if you haven't done it yet, you're probably not gonna be able to get one until the next release after the launch. Only one million units are being shipped worldwide on launch day, and most retailers are no longer taking pre-orders. The game stores in my area stopped taking pre-orders months ago because of the insane demand.

I would love to own one, but $600 is pretty steep! I'm getting a Wii to fulfill my new console needs, and wait until that huge price tag goes down. Believe me , I am a Sony fangirl, but I used to be really into Nintendo until the PS2 came out. It will be fun to play some Nintendo franchise games again (Mario, Zelda, Samus, I've missed you!) But believe me, I'll eventually own a PS3!!!!

i am so gonna get that. i don't care what the price is i love Play Station and whatever the price is it is worth it!!! i am gonna pre order it so i know that i am guarenteed a PS3!! i have been playing playstation for about 8 years and i am not gonna stop. even though i am a girl that doesn't mean that i don't love video games!! cause i am a video game fanatic!
