Unfortunately you can't. People who gossip are too busy judging everyone else instead of fixing their own life's. I would avoid them and only be polite if they try and engage in conversation be polite but busy and don't give them information to keep their gossip going!
They need to get a life and you can't give them one but don't be a part of their's either. Consider the source and if anyone discusses it with you tell them you don't have the energy to care about people who are mean and low class. You know the old saying "To know me is to love me", they don't know you.Good luck!

Unfortunately you can not stop neighbors from gossiping. You can however set a good example for you child by not reacting in a negative way toward your ignorant neighbors. Tell your child that people who have nothing better to do pick on others. Tell your child that those being picked on just have to realize that those people are not as good as the person being picked on.

There is nothing you can do to make the neighbors to stop gossip about you and your child. I do understand how you are feeling because the people used to gossip about me and they still are. What you can do is do not pay attention to the neighbors. Enjoying your relationship with your child. Someday, their gossip will haunt them.

Unfortuanately none of us can change other people. We have all had to deal with liars and gossips in our life. Consider praying about it. Hold your head high and continue to be upright and a good person. Do not give them anything to gossip about. Eventually people show their true selves.If the gossip damages your reputation or career, consider defamation law suit. You must have accurate proof to win. If not, just work on being the best person you can be. The more you show it bothers you, the more the evil people win. I would pay no mind to them or to the gossip.
