If u dont menstruate then u do not ovulate simple as that. easier words..if u do not have a period then u will not release any eggs to get pregnant. ovulation is when u release one or more eggs from your ovaries each month to be fertilized by sperm to concieve. your menstrual period can last anywhere from 2-5 days if u are regular if not then it can vary from person to person. your menstrual cycle is approx. 28 days in length if u are regular if not then can also vary. sperm can live inside for about 3-5 days depending on the person and the egg can live inside for about 24-48 hours depending. So in essence u are fertil about 5 days but most fertile and ovulating for 1 day.

ovulation is a part of mensturation. Ovulation happens usually about 2 weeks before your period is due. Ovulation means, when ur utuerus releases eggs to be fertizlied by a male sperm if the egg is not fertizled by a sperm than you will get your period and the cycle contiues if the egg and the sperm do meet then they travel down the follopeian tube and into the womb where pregnancy occurs. An average mensturation or period last for 7 days and occurs every 28 days from the first day of the period.

Ovulation is when the ovary releases an egg, this is the time when woman is most fertile. menstruation and ovulation is related because if you have had sex and become pregnant you will not have a menstruation although it is very common to bleed when you are due your periods because this is just flushing out stuff that has been left over from your last period. to be safe your a better not having unprotected sex on day 10 to 20 as you will be most fertile at this time, day 1 starts when your period does. menstruation is different for everyone some people have it for 3 days others for 7 it just depends on the person. it affects pregnancy because if you want to get pregnant just keep having hundreds of sex through days 10 to 20 if you don't tho don't have unprotected sex in the first place!

they are linked because ovulation is when the egg travels down your fallopian tubes and embeds itsself in your uterus mensturation is when your body flushes the egg our of your system and gets rid of the lining which held it in place (the blood of your period) in preperation for the fresh egg.
ovulation happens frequently until your about 50ish i think thats when you have menopause
mensturation lasts between 3-7 days its different for everyone and is normally every 28days but can vary depending on circumstances (ie stress)
in pregnancy it stops as the egg is in use so no others are required and the mensturation stops as the lining keeps the egg in and keeps it in place for the baby to develop.
however some people do still experience thier period in the first few months of pregnancy (becareful tho the bleeding could be miscarriage, believe me i know)
hope this helps
