What is the record for number of days someone has gone without eating food?

There are records of water fasts lasting up to 40 days, but the average person should not be able to go more than 28 days without encountering medical problems.

If water is included in "food", it's not likely that the person would live longer than a week.

a good rule of thumb is human survival is rated in three's. 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food.

There's a saying - sort of a memroy aid - to being without air, food, and water: "Three minutes of air; three days of water; three weeks of food" - if deprived longer than those periods, a human being is in trouble as a rule.

I wnet one month and a half this year. and 3 weeks with out water
