For me, it's a film called 'Dancer In The Dark' (2000) staring Bjork. It's the only film where I've openly shed a tear in the cinema. The reaction of the audience to this film, in my experience, was unique. The stunned silence during the credits was something I've never experienced.

It won't appeal to everyone, but you will sit with a lump in your throat! If you ever get a chance, watch this film.

Selma has emigrated with her son from Central Europe to America. The year is 1964. Selma works day and night to save her son from the same disease she suffers from, a disease that inevitably will make her blind. But Selma has the energy to live because of her secret! She loves musicals. When life feels tough she can pretend that she is in the wonderful world of musicals...just for a short moment. All happiness life is not able to give her she finds there...

An old film called project X with Mathew Broderick, it is about experimentation on monkeys and it made me cry hysterically when I was about 10. I watched it at a friends and was still crying by the time I ran round the corner home. I then proceeded to sit in the living room and cry hysterically - unable to speak for half an hour, my familly thought that I had been attacked or assualted and when I finally manage to speak to tell them why I was crying, they were RAGING with me for scaring them

I agree with the person that said "Born Free". One of my favorites! I also cried at the TV movie "If Only" with Jennifer Love Hewitt.
