Just wondering what the reason is behind it all....

Usually that type of behavior is the result of a guy trying to show his friends how masculine and verile he is in front of his friends. You probably will never see a guy acting this way when he's by himself. So, for that reason, I would say that these guys do noe expect any type of contact to be made with the object of their attantion, but merely provocation of some sort of reaction.

Oh, come on now! What woman would not love to be given such attention, and made to feel uncomfortable, like prime meat at a butcher shop?
All men out there, get over yourselves and keep your mouths shut the next time you feel the urge to do so.
