Your young.No guy is going to ask you to dance.Don't worry about it, there will be other dances in years to come.

-honey at the 6th grade the boys are not exactly what you would call mature. I bet you that there were very few of them actually dancing. So stop worrying about this. You will have more than enough time for this later on. (High school)
But if you are shy and this problem translates into other parts of your life, you have to learn to not worry about what people are going to think about you, and have fun on your own.! And when you are having fun on your own you will attract equally fun people. Good luck, I know those are hard years.

most boys aren't ready for actually dancing with girls at dances in 6th grade usually--even the fast dances, but it gts better as they get older. if you want to slow dance at a school dance, best ot pick out this person a little ahead and drop hints about the upcomming dance. boys dont want to get turned down and feel stupid.

don't feel bad. you don't want to be slow dancing with just anyone. save it for when you find someone special. if you feel bad watching everyone else then go get some punch and cookies until the song is over. as you get older you'll fit in better and eventually you'll be slow dancing and smiling.

nothing i am in 7Th grade and when i had my first in 6th grade it was so stupid all this slow songs were played and no one danced with any one and you were probably the prettiest one their and all the boys were afraid to ask you to dance

boys in that grade and age group often dont know how to talk to girls and dont know where to start. the next dance you go to if there is a boy you like ask him. But dont start acting like he s your boyfriend some boys are net ready to commit at that age

to be honest with you your too young to be dancing with anyone on slow song's because slow song's lead to alot,and no one was being rud or did not fancy dancing with you it's just that if your going dancing you go with your own partner.unless you went thinking you'd find one there.sorry that you did not find one good luck for the next one.you will find a partner,just be patient.

Very easy! Boys are dumb as a box of rocks. I saw a guy I liked in 6th grade not too long ago and he saw me at work and said DamN...you are fine...wanna go out? I said no, you haven't changed!!

You could've asked a guy to dance if you really wanted to... but yea... at that age, guys are still awkward when it comes to dancing with girls...
