In my state, technically, it's legal for anybody to carry a weapon as long as it's in plain sight. We have to have licenses to carry concealed weapons. In real life, though, if a police officer sees you carrying a weapon right out in the open, he'll arrest you for disturbing the peace or littering or anything he can find to arrest you for.

I have a concealed weapon license and have received very strict instructions to keep it concealed at all times or risk losing my license.

Depends on the state I think most have changed the laws so caring a weapon concealed or otherwise is against the law. My dad told me that in Ga in the 1960 you could open carry.

My PA permit is worded as follows:

Pennsylvania License to carry firearms

This would mean you need a license to carry open or concealed.

It depends on the state or country. You can be in a state where it is legal to have a weapon. But, if you do not have the training and a license to carry, then you can still be arrested.

It depends on the actual law. Laws vary by state, county and city.

So, you should probably research the actual laws that would apply wherever you are, rather than making assumptions like that.
