I love to walk through the fall leaves on the ground. I love the colors of the trees. I love looking at the stars on clear nights because you can see so many more without all of the humidity in the air. I love the crisp fresh cool air. And I love to sit by the fire on cool Autumn nights.

I love the comfortable temperature, yes the cool nights, the crunch of colourful leaves on the ground. I find I appreciate the warmth the sun had given up until now, making me enjoy even more the few warm days that will slip in now before the snow comes.

I live in S. Spain where we topped out at 118ºF (49º C) this year. I love the idea of fall, cooler temperatures and being able to sleep without sweating. I love the idea that it just might rain again some day this fall if we get lucky. I love the thought of being able to walk on the streets without sunglasses and sunblock. I love the idea of having enough energy to be active without sweating and having to change my clothes and bathe three times a day.

I love when the temperature cools off some but dread having winter come. Spring is my favorite time of year when everything starts blooming.

I see the 8 months of cold weather to come and it makes me want to move down south as soon as I can.... But I do like the apple harvest that is coming in right now and going to the cider mills.
