I've heard many people say that Democrats know how to campaign but not govern and Republicans know how to govern but not campaign. Do you think there's any truth to this?

They both know how to campaign. Political parties fall trap to the inevitable rule of survival - Any organization exists first to perpetuate itself, then to accomplish its original goals. And in the case of a "lost" organization, in this case both major political parties, they primarily act to perpetuate themselves, and only occasionally target the original goals that created them.

I think they BOTH need to quit the childish "partisan pundits" and start doing some bi-partisan work for this country. It doesn't take any intelligence to bash each other, how about we put some actual thought into it and work together????

I think the long-neglected art of bi-partisan cooperation needs to be rediscovered, pronto.

No. Clinton balanced the budget and we had a surplus. I believe that is called governing.

uhhh, NO. neither of them know how to govern, but they both know how to campaign. i say vote libertarian, cause we know how to govern!!! (we just can't campaign..... no support.)
