Yes.
If you swim in competition and you can't see where you are going, when you are going to cross lanes and get disqualified, or wreck into the pool sides.
I've swam in pools, lakes, rivers, and the oceans. I have always opened my eyes whether I've had a mask on or not.

Yes. In a pool with chlorinated water and it burns the eyes. I opened my eyes in a lake but it was impossible to see and I don't think the murky water is good for the eyes.

yes...i do sometimes.....just depends on whos in the pool with you....little kids......eww. Other times i used goggles. On a good day i just use my eyes, the feeling tho takes some getting used to.

Yeah I do, but only in swimming pools. I dare not in a lake, that seems very filthy.

Yes but only in clean water. I don't do that in a lake or river. That is just nasty. I only do it in a clean swimming pool.

i can only for a little while but most of the time i wear goggles u can get goggles at the dollar store near u where ever u live :]
