I have a Sony DVD RW DW G120A and XP Professional. RW is ok but in XP i am uable to any CD/DVD.?

The problem is with your jumper settings.
Set the jumper to cable select pin (CS).
that fix your problem.

Something is wrong with your cpu if you cant be able to play any cd-dvd and go to help and support to solve your problem
