Only to have them reply with a nasty comment?
It's never happened to me, but it would suck, because you can't even change your mind.

I've given a couple of "best answers" but they usually don't say anything or say something like thanks
if they replied with a nasty comment that would kind of defeat the purpose of choosing a "best answer" because they get 10pts for that...

I havent had that problem yet. What I cant stand is for someone to get nasty with an answer to one of my questions and I go to tell them off and they have no contact information...That burns me up..

One time I asked a question about potty training my 3 year old and I got an answer something like "You lazy ... they should be trained by the time they are two" I gave her best answer & told her "thanks for judging me" It wasn't the best answer, it was the worst but I just wanted to make a point. And who really cares about 'best' answer anyway!

i give my best answer to people who leave nasty answers to my questions and I leave a nasty comment for them!

I have left a bad comment once, but it was for good reason. Someome else gace a better answer than i did, and i was chosen as the best. I felt it was not fair.
