The pain is probably from ligment pain, normal during early pregnancy (your uterus is stretching, ligments are the muscles holding the uterus). They are very sharp and strong pain. Sharp movements can cause the pain (like coughing, sneezing, sharp turns, etc). The baby is not going to be hurt because you bend. However, you should not BEND down, bend your knees if you need to pick up anything, not your back, pregnant or not.

U shouldnt bend down in pregnancy. U should be squatting everytime u need to pick something up etc. Bending over like that can cause the cord to be wrapped around the babys neck which will cause problems during delivery *from experience of working at a job that required a lot of bending*. SQUAT! SQUAT! SQUAT!
Good Luck!

That's so funny of you to say because when ever I'm leaning forward for any reason the baby starts to kick and I am wondering the same thing...lol...Hopefully the baby is fine, and I just try to take the pressure off of that area. Congrats by the way!

when you want to pick something up you should squat instead of bending at the waste...although sometimes when I do laundry I feel like I'm gonna squish the baby reaching into the washing machine... but the baby should be fine...

ANY worries in pregnancy, especially in the 1st 3mths, seek medical attention. no matter if it turns out to be nothing better safe than sorry. Any medical person would tell you the same if nothing else it will assure you... good luck x

you canot harm your baby by bending down its surrounded by the amniotic fluid within the womb, just be careful if you have to lift anything heavy good luck
