It depends where in Europe. The EURO $ 1.26 is about $ .77 US -- except in Great Britain, they still use the Pound. Go to any financial page for exchange rates. Change about $ 100 US at the airport to get from there to your hotel. Then use an ATM debit card to get your daily limit. Take the most you can daily. If you use the credit card to pay for meals, etc., While you will get the best rate of exchange but you will then be charged a conversion fee.
You should be able to access any website by searching "money conversion rates" or anything along those lines. good luck!

The rate of exchange from the US Dollar to the Euro changes daily but generally it is about 1.25 dollars to the euro. If you are traveling to a country that is not on the euro you will have to check the rate of exchange for their currency. Whatever you do avoid changing money at the airport or hotels. They usually have the worst rates and the highest fees. It is best to buy euros at a bank before you leave but do not carry alot of cash. It is best to use a credit or debit card for purchases while you are there and only use cash when you have to ie. taxis, small food purchases, tips etc.

I will guess that you mean in Euros, as you didn't state any particular country.

$1 USD = .79 EUR
