seriously, i see time after time when someone asks a religious question and a Bible believing person attempts to answer them and they just spew back hatred. do the non christians truly think that hatred is a desired personality trait? word to the wise to consider: hatred eats you from within. it turns your life cold and bleak.

come on people... give me better answers than because they don't know God or have His love in their heart. i already am aware of that.

i am hoping to hear from the non christian. i really want to understand why in this world of "self awareness" that anyone would allow themselves subject to such hatred.

point proven.

i ask a question about hatred and why you would allow it to dominate your heart concerning a subject and what do you do? you respond with hatred.

i do not judge anyone. i love all (even if i don't particularly care for them lol) because we all are just people trying to live life the best we can. i do not claim to know more than the next person, but i do know what i know courtesy of my heart and faith - Jesus lives and will return to gather His people someday. Do not shut your minds to this possibility.

btw, it was a generalized question. no question can be so precise to cover every situation. ;-)

also, being a Christian doesn't mean we're perfect little beings. it simply means that we're forgiven and working on our relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. who, in turn, is shaping us into better human beings.

Honestly, I do not believe it is just non-Christians that are "hateful," as you say. Firstly, I think this is a very narrow generalization that cannot be cast upon every "non-Christian." Secondly, you just have to look past these shallow people that obviously have no respect for anyone or anything but their own personal views, which are usually ridiculous. Many of the people that answer answer with silly, meaningless responses that project no image of intellect. As I said, you must just ignore them...and I know how hard it can be. I get very angry when I see these people attacking other peoples' character, views, and ideas. Truly, you are going to see this childish behavior in any of the forums that you enter. I just want to know why they even bother taking the time to answer.

Why do you say 'non christian'?

People act like that's the only religion nowadays.
Think about all the wars going on, no christianity involved, non christians is bull**** it has no meaning! You're probably a christian so you class people who don't believe in the same religion as you: 'Non christian'. What if people are Jewish, then that's stupid to call them 'non christian' it's almost like a bad thing to be now.

It's ridiculous and so is your question. What answers were you really expecting!

Stop GENERALIZING!!!!!! so if someone is muslim, what are you gonna say to that? Of course there's going to be a argument with the christian people and the muslim. That's their religion leave them to it!!!! stop trying to control peoples lives! Perhaps you should of said about atheists or something but the thing:: non christians is stupid and ridiculous!

You ask a question to do with hatred...normally you will receive an answer with hatred just like i did.

Strange. All I see from christians is hatred, too. Why does a religion that holds up the prince of peace as a model use hate against me because I do not believe as they do?

I would prefer to live and let live. But, most Christians have a holier than thou attitude about religion. But, since you cannot see that Christains are hateful, you will not understand.

No of course not. Many of you Christians think your so open-minded, but in reality a whole lot of you are ignorant. For example there is this women who in yahoo answers is preaching that, "Jesus is God." Obviously people are going to feel very offended, including me because I am a Muslim and I do not believe in that. She, and many other Christians have to believe that not EVERYONE is Christian in the world and you have to respect everyone elses beliefs whether you like it or not. Let US believe in what we want to, don't try to convert us.

Have you met everyone who is not christian?? im not christians and i have friends from different religions....other religions arent hateful...its just that some people represent it wrong ....i think religions ask people to love and be good to others and wish them all good whoever they were unless they are distructive....there are some people that generalize...like all non-christians are hateful...well they are not...and the truth small group of the are hateful because they misunderstand their religion and they want some intrest by being hateful and ...they think their way is the only and all different is wrong.....so thats why they appear hateful...but i assure you they are not all hateful:)

I'm an atheist, but I am by no means hateful. I see religious people more as poor, ignorant people in need of education than as evil, sadistic people. Not very many are actually evil and sadistic, and most of those probably would be so with or without their religion- they'd just validate it in different ways.

In fact, I would say that religious people are in general more hateful than atheists are. They often hate certain kinds of people (homosexuals, jews, etc) on the basis of their holy books, without backing it up with logic. Not all of them do this, of course, but I've seen many who do.

I think you have it backwards. I am a Christian and the Christians here are so hateful and rude and unaccepting that it makes me sick. It makes my answers and question sound like I am a nonbeliever but that is not so. I am just tired of the so called Christians spewing forth hatred and ugliness and condemnation. It's really sad.

I see hatred coming from both Christians and non-Christians. I also see goodness from Christians and non-Christians. It doesn't matter what religion one is, s/he always has the choice of being hateful or loving.

There is more than one religion out there. Spirituality doesn't only mean Christianity, there's lots to choose from.

You are grossly overgeneralizing. I am "non-christian," and I do not spew forward hatred. I spew forth patience, generosity, and assistance daily to people who are in need. I thought you weren't supposed to judge others and their actions.

I got news for you. I know some "christians" that are more hateful than non-believers I know. Has nothing to do with religion and all to do with the persons heart.
