You cannot change the principal email add. but you can add another email address for free. (its your lucky day today)
For any child under the age of 13, the master account holder will be required to perform additional steps to create a sub account (reference note in step # 7).
Click on My Account in the top right-hand corner of this page.
Verify your password for security.
At the bottom of the My Account tab, in the Sub Accounts section, click on the Create New Sub Account button.
Enter a Member ID that contains 3 – 18 characters with no spaces or punctuation.
Note: Since there are already many existing Member IDs in the AT&T Yahoo! network, it is a possibility the Member ID you attempt to use is a reserved word, meaning that Member ID is already in use and cannot be used again. When this occurs, you will be prompted to try another word or name for the Member ID.
Enter a password, re-enter the password.
Enter the personal information requested (e.g. First name, Last Name, etc.).
Check the box confirming that you have read and agree to the AT&T Yahoo! Terms of Service, the AT&T Privacy Policy, and the Yahoo! Privacy Policy, then click the Next button.
Note: In order to create a sub account for any child under the age of 13, the master account holder will be required to:
· Certify that you are at least 18 years of age and the parent or legal guardian of the child
· Provide a valid credit card
Your credit card will not be charged, and your credit card information will not be stored by AT&T Yahoo!.
If you wish to automatically configure related services, such as Outlook and Outlook Express using you’re your new sub account, as well as other services, check/uncheck the desired services and click the Next button.
You will then receive a confirmation page that the sub account has been created and the selected related services have been configured.

Normally u can't change the primary id...but u can disconnect ur dsl for few days and reconnect and get a new id...or else call up tech support and ask for tier 2 and beg them to change the id...they have some access to servers where in they can change the id...but they normally don't do that as it requires creating new order...and may take some time....
