Sometimes it can be a desire to avoid feeling things that are unpleasant, pushing down the feelings with food. The next time you feel yourself gearing up for a binge, be very quiet, listen to your heart, and let yourself feel what ever comes up. Be prepared to cry, or rage. or what ever. You may still want a little something at the end, but you will probably eat much less, and know yourself way better, and love yourself better at the end of it all.

Boredom, stress, anxiety, loniless, depression, sadness, etc. can cause a person to binge eat. Also, bingeing can be brought on by a lack of certain nutrients in the body. By eating a healthy balanced diet you can prevent or lessen binges. Don't completely cut out your favorite foods from your diet either, but limit them to maybe once a week. Good luck!
