life is completely meaningless. logically speaking, no one alive on this planet has ever had a truly original thought. all of our thoughts, actions, relationships, and life circumstances have been previously encoutered by people who have lived generations before we have. life is nothing but a set of variables which eventually all repeat themselves. our fears, wishes, dreams, and desires have all been felt and wished for before. life as we know it is just someone elses recycled being...

No, life's not meaningless, V would not have existed otherwise. If there's life, then there's 2B a meaning too, nothing's meaningless. Though, it's a different thing that V don't know actual meaning of life, hence, everyone lives on making the meaning of their own life their own way.

The answer to the question "what is the meaning of life?" has a very simple answer. To live. Then one must respect each person's right to live, and included in that should be allowing them to live free of fear. So long as humans don't impose their power over others and induce fear humans will be able to truly live. Otherwise life will be a meaningless struggle for power as it appears to be now.

In the larger scale, I suppose so - I don't think we're building towards any sort of crescendo, or anything.
On a smaller scale - every life gives meaning to every other life. Individual life has meaning, while humanity as a whole does not.

Life is what you make of it. I believe that there is a lesson that we all are suppose to learn in our life time. Once we have completed that task we go to our next life. And in our next we will have another one until we have become fully knowledgeable of what true happiness and true sorrow's are and when you have learned that humans can be capable of true evil also...We must learn all parts of human nature before we complete our soul's destiny

life in itself is meaningless, what we do and decide determines its meanings. but it is not empty of value, it is very valuable. there is no meaning without life either, only the live ones can have meanings.

The meaning of life to us is happiness.
Most religious people that God has a purpose or meaning to human life.
If you aren't religious, then happiness is still the purpose of our lives. We want to be happy regardless of anyone or anything else's purpose for us.

You question assumes that life is in someway sentient. It is not. It has no purpose beyond existence and seeking comfort/pleasure. Man, however is sentient and pursues another agenda.

Of course it is. As with any other subjective behavior, it only has the meaning and the importance that we give it.
