You paid your good, hard-earned money for an overpriced visit to the theater because you were of the opinion from trailers, ads, and maybe even the opinions of your friends that a movie would be one of the best entertainment experiences of your life, or at least this year. Then, after a few minutes into the movie, you realize that the movie was overrated by all but the fiercest critics who gave the movie an absolute thumbs down and who expressed a desire to have bamboo shoots shoved under their fingernails and toenails rather than have to sit through that again. You walk out in disgust or at least utter disappointment.

Do you also stop in the foyer on your way out and insist on getting your money back?

That's one of the reasons I just wait till it comes out on cable.

It's cheaper, and I can always change the channel if it sucks.

I think to as the movie theater for your money back is in bad taste! It was your choice to see the movie. The company that should take the hit for your dollars should be the movie studio. They created the movie not the theater.

If it sucks, and you have time, just skip to 2 or 3 others. You've just made your money back plus some.

no, because they'll have u escorted out for making a scene b4 they give u 1 dime back. i just keep my comments to myself & tell others to go see it themselves so they'll waste their money, too.
