It's how much something is made of. But don't mistake the term with "weight", since weight is the measurement of gravity.

It's a catholic way of worship. Basically the same as any other religion but you sit through an hour of church, being preached to. The only real difference is you have communin in mass and you get a sip of watered down wine.
Or it can be used as a mathmatical term such as density=mass over volume. Mass takes up space.

what kind of mass are you talking about?
1.mass (in christianity)=
Celebration of the Eucharist in the Roman Catholic church. It is considered a sacramental reenactment of the death and resurrection of Jesus as well as a true sacrifice in which the body and blood of Jesus (the bread and wine) are offered to God. It is also seen as a sacred meal that unifies and nourishes the community of believers. The mass includes readings from Scripture, a sermon, an offertory, a eucharistic prayer, and communion. The rite was greatly changed after the Second Vatican Council, notably in the adoption of vernacular languages in place of Latin.
2. mass (in physics):A unified body of matter with no specific shape
3 masses: Common people/crowds

Mass is the amount of matter in an object. We use the word mass to talk about how much matter there is in something. (Matter is anything you can touch physically.) On Earth, we weigh things to figure out how much mass there is. The more matter there is, the more something will weigh.
