Why did they pick bush?

why did they (Americans) elect president bush twice when even the dumbest person can see hes an idiot.

Someone once said when good men do nothing they get what they deserve. This is also true for Women. I believe the President of the United States was elected by fewer than 50% of registered voters in the last two elections. This is Registered voters, think of how many people never register to vote and this also includes those who voted who have been dead for years.
The point is Republicans (many who call themselves Independent but have never voted for a Democrat even when the Democrat has exactly the same voting record on partial birth abortion, stem cell research, war on terrorism etc. as their Rep. opponent) do Vote. They think themselves smarter than others who do not vote, and on this point I must agree. Instead of asking why they picked Bush, ask what must I do for this to never happen again. Get out, organize, and Vote in the next election. Why should you allow 25% of the voting age public to make the decisions.

In political terms a person has to pick the person who is the less offensive to the most people. You will never find one person everyone likes so you have to find someone the less people hate. Or one who has done less stupid things in thier prior policial offices.

Bush was a great State Leader and honestly he has done alotof great things for the US, by lowering business tax, he was spurred business into better position, and the lower tax is bringing in more tax dollars because business is expanding.

Unemployment is doing better as is investments on peoples money.

So they picked him because he was a good pick to get elected, and they were right.

You have additional information you didn't use. The choice (first time) was between Bush and Al Gore. The second was Bush vs John Kerry. I'd rather, much rather have Bush.

Because they knew he wouldnt/couldnt get in the way of all their evil plans..he was the lesser of any evil out there at the time...The real person running the White House was the one that lost to Bill Clinton..or hasnt that registered with any of you yet?? The current Administrations is full of ex members of Daddy Bushs cabinet..and the attack on Iraq was warrented not by anything other then what Daddy Bush wanted for himself and his friends..oil and gas reserves rights for hundreds of years to come. Daddy Bush also owns shares in oil rig platforms off the coast of Kuwait. DUH!!!
