Did you mean, Swimming Pool or Billiards Pool? Well, what famous person to invite would depend on the theme....and you are going to have a theme to the pool party aren't you, besides just "Pool?"
So, let's say your theme is Hollywood, I'd invite Casanova, the Three Scrooges, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Natalie Wood (that's a bad one since she drowned), Joan Collins, Ariel the little mermaid, etc. Sky's the limit.
If it's gonna be a Halloween pool party, I'd invite The Munsters, Addams Family, Character's from TV's Bewitched. Sky's the limit also.
I would first pick a theme and decide who to invite based on the theme.

Let's see -- Darryl Hannah as the mermaid in "Splash," as she would really be in her element. The Johnny Weismuller Tarzan, as he was an old swimming champ. Any Brad Pitt character, just so I could see him in his Speedos.
