No it doesn't but its promising make sure you do a follow up within a few days and if you get a second interview wear your best clothes(it is impossible to over dress for a job interview) and make sure u make eye contact with the person interviewing you because you cant trust someone who wont look you in the eyes
Good Luck on getting your job

No. It all depends on how the interview goes. If the manager looks at your application, or if your interview doesn't go well, he will just toss your application in the can. Just because they need workers doesn't mean they will hire you for sure, because there is always someone else lined up.

No matter if it is a new business, or an old business, you should always act & dress your best. You still have something to show them.

Your chances of getting a job at place with almost 0 current employees is a lot greater than getting a job at a place where there's only one position open at a time, at least in my head.

If the store is in a small town with only a few thousand people in it...then I would say yes.

Unless you're a clod or a jerk or a clown. There is no reason you aren't there opening day.

[This is not to state that this person is any of the above, but I can't tink of any other reason as to why you couldn't get it]

No! There are probably more applicants, if anything, thinking the same thing.
