no the uk driving test is hard enough without sat navigation

nope. Sat nav is forever crashing so as said earlier you need to rely more on maps and roadsigns. Also Sat nav is still quite expensive and most cant afford to spend on it.

I feel that some basic map-reading skills would be more beneficial to some people.
It still amazes me how many people haven't a clue how to read a map.
