If we decided to go into Iran, would there be any serious backlash from Russia or China?

Discuss please.

Of course...Russia and China don't want to hear about sanctions against Iran,so I don't think a military intervention would make them very happy...Iran is very close to Russia and both Russia and China have very important economical ties with Iran....So I really think that in case of a US attack they would step up and defend Iran,even if this means fighting against US...
But as I see the negotiations with the EU is going well according to both sides,so I don't think Bush will find any reason of attacking Iran...

For certain, and the backlash across the muslim world would be tremendous no doubt.

How they would react exactly? Probably the muslim world and China would aid Iran, with Russia mainly protesting it I believe.

if America gives Russia and China what they want,they will not support Iran.i mean a huge bribe.
the Muslim countries are mainly Sunni,why should they support Iran.
