The writer "Ah Ha" must be making a joke--'winning the war on terror' is a slogan from the Bush administration! My thoughts when GWB started using that phrase was the by-line as above: 'is he really that ignorant?'
Terrorists form when terrorism is their best method of warfare. We are too big & powerful to take on militarily, also protected by two oceans. So like the truth of it or not, we will be targets of that means of fighting.
What breaks my heart is that the Iraq war has strengthened the resolve, recruitment & practice opportunities for the terrorists. GWB has worsened what he said he wanted to fight.
Ultimately, the national debt of the war that GWB chose to start will be our downfall. The debt is growing steadily & the interest will kill us by causing a destabilizing inflation leading to a recession/depression.
It really is not 9-11 but our response to it that will do us in. Sorry if you find that painful to hear, I do too

It's a rhetorical question. There is no answer, and there is no way to "win" the "war on terrorism". Asking this question points out the flaws inhereint in the "war", and just how ridiculous it is.

Why do the Repugliscums think the war on terror
is like a football game and at the end of the 4th quarter

They don't. They constantly ask why US invaded Iraq and ask why it's such a senseless and unjustified war (which is true).
AGAIN: There is no connection between 911 and Iraq.
Cons never answer the question and blindly follow the Bush sheeple herd.
