It was Rod, Jane and Freddy. I still remember it when it first started as I'd had an accident at work and got laid off for about 3 months. Always was a big kid at heart. lol.
And I don't know about Porn but I do have an old video tape somewhere that's made by the TV companies' VCR departments for the staff at Christmas (White Powder Christmas) and there was a spoof made by the cast of Rainbow which is HILARIOUS and very double-entendre - Carry On films have NOTHING on this!! lol.
As for why it was taken off the air, I guess because it had been on so long and kids grow out of certain programmes and the cast get too old or too long in the tooth to do the programmes any longer and something else/fresh is needed. I daresay it's still on somewhere on some cable/digital channel somewhere and of course probably available on DVD so not gone forever. :)

Bungle, Zippy and George are still about but I would imagine Geoffry, Rod Jane and Freddy are drawing their pensions.

It got a bit too old to be honest with you. It was good for it's time but had stayed on for a little too long before ratings started to fall. There were better things coming out like Sooty & Sweep etc.

the budget got cut so they made this as the very last episode,it never got aired funnily enough.
