Both are good and have equal no of channels. I was with dishtv when they started the service. Their customer serivice is really great and maintains international standards. They are the first to enter in this feild in India(may be more than 5 years ago). Tatasky just started and i don have much information on them. You have video on demand and lot other attracting features in dishtv (heard that soon they are introducing internet connectivity too). Every penny you pay them is really worth in my opinion. DishTV is having dealer in every corner of the city. Go to their websites compare and deicide your self dude......... All the best.

Cable cause you never loose it when it's storming outside my neighbor had Dish & he didn't like it cause you gotta clean the dish off durning snow storms cause it's very bad durning rain & snow no joke he hated it & returned to cable really fast
